This is the genuine Anderson product. 
Designed as a "uni-sex" connector, the Anderson connectors are both male and female in the same connector. Simply turn the connector upside down and it becomes the 'opposite' connector. 
RED Andersons are used in 24 Volt connections. They are NOT interchangeable with black or GREY Anderson connectors. 

Rated at 175 Amps this connector is perfect for heavy duty / waterproof connections.
